This oversized format “wall tapestry sculpture” is inspired by nature, love, materials, and an infused inspiration by the long conversation with Jody, who commissioned this piece for her new house. The fifth element reflects in many layers of this multi-colored tridimensional canvas.

The energetic materials and textures flow along the wall. The stainless steel represents the air; the blown glass, the waves, and the ripples represent the water. The fire emerges from several casted metal pieces tinted with colorful natural resins. The hand-cast aluminum, along with the bent and chiseled steel, honors the earth, from which the fossil tree emerges and becomes part of this living planet.
