Colibrí Coeletis

The Aglaiocerus Coeletis Hummingbird, known as the Violet Tailed Sylph, has a long shimmering violet tail.

The upper-parts are iridescent palette of greens, turning slightly darker on the underside and with patches of violet blue feathers adorning the throat and rump.

This “Colibrí” found in this region feeds on nectar and is an important propagator of the beautiful tropical forest’ flowers.
